Are you Critical?
Are you a critical person? Let me share a couple of quotes that I recently read:- Criticizing another's garden does not keep the weeds out of your own.
- The person who is always finding fault seldom finds anything else.
- No one can improve his work by tearing down the work of another.

Mission Team News
Hap O'Hair recently sent this out to those who are serving on our Connection Class Mission Team: "Thank you for joining the Mission Team. We are glad that you feel led to join in this exciting and rewarding area of ministry. This area is unique in that it involves us reaching out to people outside of our GSBC family.
There are four areas of mission work that we will concentrate on: Emailing our GSBC missionary families, Local Missions, US Missions and Foreign Missions. Even though you may not be interested in traveling to another part of the US or to another part of the world, you are welcome to serve in an organizational capacity in any and all areas. We feel that anyone can contribute by Praying, Emailing, Giving and/or Going.
Our first goal is to get the Email Ministry operating so please let us know if any of you feel led to manage this area. This person(s) would manage the Missionary Email schedule and remind people of their commitment week. We plan to send a Missionary Email sign-up sheet around the class this Sunday (5/11) to give everyone in the class an opportunity to be involved with this area of our outreach.
We have several local, national and foreign opportunities and events on our radar that we will discuss with you. Also, please let us know if you have information about any upcoming mission opportunities. You can contact us at karen.ohair@amhaire.com or hapohair@crescentford.com or by phone at 885-3987.
Again, welcome and we will be in contact with you in the near future with additional information and opportunities to participate."

We're Moving on May 18!
Happy New Year
Received this from our friends:Happy New Year!! Sa-wa-dee-bi-mai! Welcome to the year 2552! Not what you expect to happen in April, ringing in the New Year. As we have learned from our experiences here the Thais really like to celebrate certain holidays in a big way. Songkran is the festival for the New Year which happens the second weekend in April each year. Our blog details all the fun we had splashing in the New Year. http://thaigrits.blogspot.com/
Oh by the way, 2552 is how many years it has been since the birth of Gautama Buddha. We really appreciate your support. We enjoy hearing from you and finding out what is going on with you.
Share the adventure,
